1955 Chevrolet Belair Nomad

1955 came with a big change, especially in the automotive industry. People wanted big style, power, comfort, and Freedom to explore the USA! Harley Earl was that designer who turned the industry on its top with his ability to create masterpieces of form and function.  1954 the Waldorf Auto show surprised everyone with Earl’s corvette station wagon. It’s presents had everyone demanding a version of this two-door wagon now! 100 hand built “Waldorf” Nomads were made and hid in showrooms across America. This is one of those cars. Built in Oct 1954 and sold in Washington State, this Nomad did not disappoint when the curtain was raised! Every option including Powerpack engine, power everything, and additional chrome accents. Only one option was not included on this car. AC, remember, was a Washington State delivery. The Red and White Pearl draws you closer to see that her occupants get the best that 1955 could offer in this very limited production car!
