1949 Chevrolet was in its 2nd year for what they called the “Advanced Series of Trucks” These were without a doubt, and still to this day, one of the most reliable, hardworking, and stylish pickups to date. Almost 75 years later, everyone wants to find, restore, upgrade, or just drive these trucks. Bessie was the first in my life in 1973 and she carried me through High School, College, Career, Courtship, and Life itself! She still everyone’s favorite with her natural ability to be a memory maker with her beautiful “working elegance”!
