Meet the Fleet

Julianne

1970 Buick GS Stage 1 Convertible

1970 was the pinnacle year for all out muscle in the automotive world. Great fuel prices, style, and the “First on Race Day” ruled the design and engineering teams at the Detroit big 3! Cars had names like The Judge, Boss, GTO, SS, 442 and Hemi Challenger to name only a few heavy hitters! Buick was still a gentleman’s choice, but GM’s Buick slipped into history behind everyone’s back with the Grand Sport (GS) Stage 1. Nicknamed the “Hemi Killer ” , the GS with the option “Stage One ” hit the streets with the highest horsepower and torque on the road ever to date! This one year, 1970, would die fast with the new emission standards chocking the life out of muscle era in 1971.
Julianne comes with all the options and color combinations that really set this car apart. And the optional Convertible top lets everyone see that you have arrived! And if you’re blind, the music from her exhaust lets you know that you also mean serious business!

Lynda

1970 Pontiac Lemans Sport (Hurst Edition)

Pontiac had already laid claim that they were the invention of the Muscle Car! For years the GTO came with a power punch and styling that turned heads. Lemans was the race of endurance, skill, and just plain “Guts”.
Lynda is an example that someone checked every box on the order-spec sheet, 31 options in all.
Her true low miles and Arizona rust free curves catch your eye first, then you peek into the inside to find GTO factory trim with the famous Hurst “His Hers Shifter”. Then you have to also see under the hood which also does not disappoint, the famous Tri-power Pontiac 400/400 is waiting to live and breathe! Lynda pleases in every way!

Bessie

1949 Chevrolet 3100 ½ Ton

1949 Chevrolet was in its 2nd year for what they called the “Advanced Series of Trucks” These were without a doubt, and still to this day, one of the most reliable, hardworking, and stylish pickups to date. Almost 75 years later, everyone wants to find, restore, upgrade, or just drive these trucks. Bessie was the first in my life in 1973 and she carried me through High School, College, Career, Courtship, and Life itself! She still everyone’s favorite with her natural ability to be a memory maker with her beautiful “working elegance”!

Gennie

1957 Chevrolet Belair

Today, there is an era in Chevrolet history known as the Tri-Fives. 1955,56,57. World War 2 was still very fresh in everyone’s minds and hearts. Freedom meant a lot to everyone and with the slogan “See the USA in a Chevrolet” really hit home! Gennie is that example. Rosewood Dust and Apollo White paint laid on those subtle body lines, lends for your soul to relax and to enjoy life! Gennie is one of our “1 family owned” vehicles that was loved as one of the family. Being from Fort Scott and owned by the local Principle of that school district, Gennie not only served during the school year, but was known for her trunk full of encyclopedias for sale during the summer months! Enjoy the past from the car that knows the road!

Bella

1955 Chevrolet Belair Hardtop

What were you doing in 1962? American Graffiti showed us that growing up in those years meant; music, friendship, cruising the boulevard, and making those fond memories that lasted for generations! Bella is that time capsule. Her black lacquer paint, blood red “diamond tuck” seats with of course “Shag carpet” takes you back to those simple times when innocence went right out the door when you found yourself lined up at the stop light, Duels revving, and waiting for the Green light to Go!

Rosie

1955 Chevrolet Belair Nomad

1955 came with a big change, especially in the automotive industry. People wanted big style, power, comfort, and Freedom to explore the USA! Harley Earl was that designer who turned the industry on its top with his ability to create masterpieces of form and function.  1954 the Waldorf Auto show surprised everyone with Earl’s corvette station wagon. It’s presents had everyone demanding a version of this two-door wagon now! 100 hand built “Waldorf” Nomads were made and hid in showrooms across America. This is one of those cars. Built in Oct 1954 and sold in Washington State, this Nomad did not disappoint when the curtain was raised! Every option including Powerpack engine, power everything, and additional chrome accents. Only one option was not included on this car. AC, remember, was a Washington State delivery. The Red and White Pearl draws you closer to see that her occupants get the best that 1955 could offer in this very limited production car!

The Bandit

1979 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 SE AIR

I have only a few thoughts. Where can you ever see a 49,000 mile, top optioned, one owner, number matching, California built, One of 6 PHS documented Trans Am! Words? I have one, DANG! Yes, the movies moved these legends to the forefront, but the Black and Gold Trans Am was a creation founded by the Indy series and the Johnny Player Special. One of the winnings cars of all time. Inside this car, you feel different. You can not just sit, you have to start it and see, feel, and absorb! The Shaker hood dance has you mesmerized to the point you forgot that it is only a car? Hardly.

Lilly

1967 Mustang A-code Convertible

Ford made history that is still in high demand today. The Mustang is the longest consecutive model in current production ever. Its popularity started as a simple idea in 1964 to supply an affordable car for who? “A Secretary”! Things quickly changed and the Mustang transformed into a car that could become whatever its owner desired and needed. 1967 was the year many of those changes started. The A-code was now a high horsepower small block with accents related to the GT racing series. Engine, wheels, Body accents, etc. changed the little car to the folklore we recognize today. Lilly does not disappoint the mustang purest with her rare heavy optioned list from the factory and solid body. A mustang indeed! An American horse which is typically small and lightly built adding in speed!

Thelma

1972 Chevrolet C10 “Highlander”

In the final weeks of 1972 production, Chevrolet sales dropped in their pick-up line. Why? The secret leaked out, 1973 was going to be a totally new body style. We know it today as the Square Bodies. Sales needed to improve, so Chevrolet started a campaign called the Highlander.
These trucks came in what was known as “Special Promotion A, B, C” Thelma, a one family owned truck, was ordered as a SP-C package that has all the options found in 1972! And her period correct bed “Topper” adds to her presents as an explorer! Thelma is only one example of the C/K line of trucks we offer.

Tug

1957 Chevrolet 3800 4×4 “Napco”

Imagine you are about ready to order your next “Work” truck in 1957! To this point in history, most trucks were simple, 6 cyl, workhorses. The salesman knows the work you do and the environmental demands you face. Have you thought of a V8 engine? Or how about an even newer option, 4 Wheel Drive!  In 1957 this was unknown territory in the truck world and an even harder sale to the public. Tug is that truck, 1 Ton payload, factory V8 engine, and 4×4 personality. Tug comes to us from the land of Northern California. Her 9-foot step side bed continues to deliver the goods with confidence! Tug is our daily worker, and on the occasions that she gets to pose with a family photo, the whole family climbs in!

Carol

1986 Chevrolet C-10

When you see a bright yellow vehicle, it brings to mind American Graffiti and Milner’s coupe. It demands attention. Carol has this effect at any event! Known today in the truck world as a “Square Body”, the long lost step side and real oak flooring bed we designed to serve the work habits of its owner.
Living up to this C-10 namesake, Carol was the young lady in Milner’s coupe that demanded attention with a “Hey, I am here!” attitude. This C-10 has one of the sweetest exhaust tones in our fleet and if you need a high spirit  C-10 in your day, Call will not disappoint.
